FAITH CONNECTION

Welcome To Faith
Faith is blessed to welcome three new members to the church. Please be sure to introduce yourself if you haven't already had the pleasure of getting to know Jan Gandy, Kim Johnson and Pat Pryor.

Beautiful Banners
Suzette Bingham's work on the beautiful banners, "Emmanuel" and "God With Us" are on display this month in Faith's Sanctuary. What a wonderful way to remind us of God's love.

Isn't That Different?
Did you notice the tree in the Narthex has changed it colors? It was a beautiful reminder to pick up toys for the Mama Mia Love Train. Now that the train has left the station, the tree has transformed into the Memorial Tree. Angel ornaments are available for you to honor loved ones who have passed away. Simply write the person's name on the front of the Angel and place it on the tree. The suggested donation is $1 and all proceeds will benefit local Hospice. Past PrimeTimers Co-Chair, Sandy Garbutt, started this many years ago and we are honored to continue its tradition.

70 Years & Still Loving It
Uncle (Ed Daniels) and his bride of 70 years (Aunt Louise) celebrated their November 11th Anniversary, starting with a big cake and party on November 25th with Elizabeth Schultz and her family.
The celebration continued with an intimate dinner, where the lovebirds ate a gourmet meal (arranged by Uncle as a surprise for his wife), toasted with some bubbly (Welch's sparkling grape juice) and cut their cake together. After the emotion of exchanging loving cards, they read all of the wonderful cards from their new Faith family. Aunt Louise told Uncle how she kept getting anniversary well wishes and one card after another, to find yet another card on her chair.
They were both moved by Pastor Gary's recognition of their 70th Anniversary, including them in his worship prayers and his blessing at the hospital that afternoon.
Great-niece, Sheila Rapavi, surprised the happy couple once again with a large sheet cake with a photo of them on it that was taken not long after they were married. They shared the cake and memories with friends at University Village in Tampa. After all, doesn't 70 years of marriage deserve more than one cake?!
Uncle and Aunt Louise wants everyone to know you've helped make their 70th Anniversary as memorable as their wedding and "we thank them very much."
Uncle added, “That's right, Sweetie."
